Early Childhood Services
Pre-School Screenings
Free Developmental Screenings will be offered by the Livingston County Special Services Unit, Livingston County Public Schools, OSF St. James Hospital, and the Livingston County Public Health Department.
Screenings are open to children from birth to 6 years of age. Children who have not been screened in the past and have no developmental concerns do not need to attend. Areas screened include vision, hearing, speech, language, learning and motor skills.
Fall Preschool Screenings
Free screenings wil be offered on Friday, August 31st, at the First Presbyterian Church, 209 West Livingston in Pontiac. Appointments can be made by calling after August 13th to LCSSU at 815-844-7115.

Parents should call the school which their child will attend (one week prior to the screening date) for information about the location and to schedule an appointment.
