Library Use
At the central office of LCSSU there is a lending library. This library includes materials on Special Education Law, parenting strategies, assessment tools, current trends, recent research, Autism and other disabilities, etc. Any parent is welcome to check out materials for a two week period. Extensions can be arranged if needed.
The Regional Office of Education’s website is listed here and provides parents with information concerning a variety of topics.
Illinois State Board of Education’s website is listed here and provides parents with information about General Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education, along with many more topics.
